Today the band 48th Highlanders of Holland exists for 35 years!

On January 15, 2026, the 48th Highlanders of Holland Pipes and Drums will celebrate its 35th anniversary. Since our founding in 1991, we have been a living monument to the memory of the Canadian liberators of Apeldoorn and the surrounding area. For 35 years, we have connected remembrance and music, tradition and community. This anniversary marks not only a milestone in our history but also our enduring commitment to remember the fallen heroes .
