On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the Firefighter Stair Climb event will be held in Almere. This is a stair-climbing event in which 911 emergency responders—firefighters, ambulance personnel, and police—will climb 30 floors in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, 25 years ago this year.
